What started with a competition trophy became a passion for sharing real Texas-style BBQ with our community.
When Josh entered his first backyard BBQ competition on a whim, he never expected to walk away with the grand prize. But that trophy changed everything. The feedback from the judges, the smiles on people's faces as they tasted his brisket, the pure joy of creating something people truly loved - it sparked something that couldn't be ignored.
After months of perfecting recipes, building his custom smoker, and testing on friends and family (who were more than happy to help), Old Smokey BBQ was born. Now every Saturday, Josh fires up the pit at 4am to bring you the same award-winning BBQ that started it all.
